What You Will Be Doing
• Serving as a trusted mentor to K-8 students, cultivating relationships that encourage confidence and a growth-oriented mindset
• Leveraging AI-powered adaptive learning platforms to customize educational journeys—students advance at their own speed while you facilitate exploration
• Creating and facilitating life-skills workshops focused on essential competencies such as public speaking, goal-setting, and teamwork that equip students for long-term achievement
• Cultivating an environment centered on curiosity, aspiration, and continuous development—guiding students to recognize their individual talents and passions

Tutor Key Responsibilities
Basic Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in any field
• Proven public speaking abilities with a track record of captivating and motivating audiences
• Genuine interest in connecting with, inspiring, and encouraging K-8th grade students
• 3 years of experience in coaching or mentoring children
• Legal authorization to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship
• Availability to work on-site at one of our campus locations: Austin, TX; Brownsville, TX; Fort Worth, TX; or Scottsdale (Phoenix), AZ
• Capacity to participate in a paid training program conducted at our Austin, TX campus

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
