Job Title: Construction Business Development Director (ACE)

Location: Remote - U.S.

In this role, you will be a doer, builder, and strategist to drive existing market expansion in the Architecture, Construction, and Engineering (ACE) industries. You will have a massive impact within the business's bottom line. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth by positioning our solutions and services as the partner of choice within the ACE sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Pipeline Development
    • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within the ACE industry.
    • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent activity and progress toward revenue targets.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, project managers, architects, engineers, and construction leaders.
  • Client Engagement
    • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to showcase our services and solutions.
    • Understand client needs and tailor proposals to address industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by providing insights on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Strategic Growth
    • Collaborate with marketing to create targeted campaigns for ACE industry outreach.
    • Represent the company at industry trade shows, networking events, and professional associations.
    • Develop partnerships with complementary service providers, consultants, and contractors to expand reach and influence.
  • Reporting & Forecasting
    • Track and report on sales activities, progress, and pipeline status using CRM tools.
    • Provide accurate revenue forecasts and market intelligence to leadership.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in business development/sales in the Construction industries or architecture or engineering industries.
  • Maintain a strong network of contacts within the ACE sector, driving continued relationship building and rapport.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into client value propositions.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
