Overnight Van Loader - Wholesale Florist (Milan, IL) 3rd shift $18/hr
Are you a reliable, detail-oriented night owl looking for a physically engaging role? Join our team at a leading wholesale florist in Milan, IL ! You will play a crucial role in ensuring our beautiful floral products are safely and accurately loaded, guaranteeing our drivers hit the road on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurate and Safe Loading: Efficiently and accurately load delivery vans with a variety of floral products and supplies directly from the wholesale warehouse.
- Dispatch Readiness: Work quickly and collaboratively with the team to ensure all vans are loaded and drivers are dispatched on time for their routes, meeting tight daily deadlines.
- Team Communication: Maintain a high level of communication with team members regarding inventory, load progress, and any potential issues.
- Work Environment: Be prepared to work in varying conditions, which may include indoor warehouse environments or brief periods outside in the elements.
What You Bring (Requirements):
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and comfortably handle the physical demands of an overnight loading position.
- Speed & Efficiency: Proven ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependability: Strong punctuality, reliable attendance, and a commitment to completing the shift every night.
- Experience: A current resume demonstrating similar experience in a warehouse, logistics, or loading role is preferred.
- Compliance: Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug test.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Standard Shift: 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
- Flexibility Required: Hours and specific working days may vary based on business needs and seasonal demand.
