Test Development Engineer
Description
We are seeking a Test development Engineer to join our growing team of 160+ professionals. This role is focused on designing and developing custom test solutions rather than performing traditional testing. You will work on circuit design (analog and digital), sensor technologies (including radar), and power engineering, creating innovative test fixtures and automated systems for complex products.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop custom test equipment, racks, and stacks for advanced sensor and radar systems.
Create test fixtures, harnesses, and cabling solutions to enable accurate data acquisition.
Perform circuit design (analog and digital) for test systems, including power control and signal interfacing.
Develop and integrate automated test solutions, including coding and scripting for automation.
Collaborate with product design teams to understand system architecture and define effective test strategies.
Utilize tools such as OrCAD, Cadence Allegro, and work with RF and digital logic interfaces.
Preferred exposure to LabVIEW and TestStand for automation (not mandatory).
Support global test operations and coordinate with teams across multiple depots worldwide.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards while driving innovation in test methodologies.

Preferred Skills & Tools
Strong foundation in electrical engineering with emphasis on circuit design.
Experience with sensor technologies (radar systems preferred).
Knowledge of power engineering and control systems.
Familiarity with automated test development, scripting, and integration.
Exposure to LabVIEW, TestStand, OrCAD, Cadence Allegro, RF systems, and digital logic.
Ability to design and implement custom test fixtures and harnesses.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Hiring for different Experience Levels:
o Development Engineer II: Early career (not entry-level).
o Senior Engineer: ~8 years experience, leadership of small teams/projects.
o Principal Engineer: Technical and project leadership, financial tracking (EVM), managing own projects.

This is a Contract position based out of Tewksbury, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $85.00/hr.
