Job Title: SQL Database Administrator
Location: Brunswick, Georgia (onsite)
Job Type: Full Time
Salary: $58.00/HR - $69.00/HR on W2
Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

Role Objective:
We are currently seeking a SQL Database Administrator who will support the data backbone behind the training, security, and operational systems for a long term government contract supporting the Department of Homeland Security in Brunswick, Georgia.
 
Responsibilities:

• Design and administer Microsoft SQL Server environments.
• Ensure database availability, performance, and integrity.
• Implement backup and recovery strategies.
• Support modernization and performance optimization initiatives.
• Coordinate with application and systems teams.

Education and Years of Experience: 

• 5+ years SQL Server hands-on experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or related field (advanced degree preferred) OR equivalent experience
• SQL Server 2012 experience
• Design & implementation experience in SQL Server 2012
