Propellant is a rapidly growing digital marketing agency based in NE Minneapolis, working across industrial, creative, and climate-focused brands. We build content engines for clients and ourselves, everything from manufacturer campaigns to original short-form series about the future of the planet.

We’re looking for a Social Media Growth Coordinator who lives and breathes the short-form world and knows what it takes to actually win there. You’ll help us manage and grow multiple social channels across YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and Threads , supporting both client work and internal creative projects.

This is a freelance, 15–20 hr/week role at $25/hr , with a flexible schedule but an expectation to join us in our NE Minneapolis office once a week to talk strategy, performance, and ideas.

What you’ll do

• Create titles, descriptions, and upload, short-form videos across multiple platforms
• Track performance, spot trends, and help shape growth strategy
• Manage comments and community engagement (we like real humans here)
• Create or assist with thumbnails, titles, and light social graphics
• Collaborate with our creative and production teams to test ideas and scale what works

What we’re looking for

• You understand short-form content at a gut level, what hooks people, what doesn’t, and why
• Proven experience growing organic social channels
• You’re organized, self-directed, and genuinely curious about what makes content grow
• You stay up to speed on platform changes, algorithms, and emerging creators
• Bonus points if you’ve worked with analytics tools or can mock up visuals quickly
