Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Manager to manage, maintain, and optimize our SAP landscape. The role involves performing system upgrades, patching, refreshes, performance tuning, and ensuring high system availability. The ideal candidate should have proven expertise in both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA, along with experience in SAP BTP/IS, Solution Manager, SAP BODS, OpenText, Fivetran, Snowflake and VIM administration.

Responsibilities:

System Administration & Maintenance

• Install, configure, and administer SAP systems across landscapes (ECC, S/4HANA, Solution Manager, BW, PI/PO, CPI, BODS, OpenText, VIM, etc.).
• Manage client copies, system refreshes, and migrations.
• Perform SAP kernel upgrades, support package implementations, and enhancement pack updates.
• Apply patches and ensure systems are up to date with the latest SAP and database releases.

Performance & Tuning

• Monitor SAP system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system resources.
• Perform workload analysis, memory management, and database performance tuning.
• Collaborate with functional and development teams to identify and resolve bottlenecks.

S/4HANA, ECC, CPI, BODS, OpenText & VIM Expertise

• Support ECC to S/4HANA conversion projects, system upgrades, and greenfield implementations.
• Administer SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) including installation, configuration, user management, certificates, connectivity, and maintenance.
• Manage CPI tenant upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting integration flows.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain SAP BODS, OpenText, and VIM environments.
• Experience with HANA database administration, backup, recovery, and tuning.
• Knowledge of Fiori, SAP Gateway, and integration with SAP Cloud Connector.

Landscape & Security Management

• Manage transport landscapes and ensure smooth change management processes.
• Implement and monitor SAP security patches and support compliance requirements.
• Work with Infrastructure/OS teams for system monitoring, high availability, and disaster recovery.

Documentation & Support

• Create and maintain system documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
• Provide 24x7 production support (on-call rotation as required).
• Act as SME for Basis, CPI, BODS, OpenText, and VIM-related queries during audits and project reviews.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of SAP Basis administration experience with strong background in ECC and S/4HANA.
• Hands-on expertise in system upgrades, support packs, and patches.
• System refreshes and client copies.
• SAP HANA database administration and tuning.
• Performance monitoring and optimization.
• SAP CPI installation, maintenance, and integration support.
• Experience with OS (Linux/Windows/Unix) and database platforms (HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2).
• Strong knowledge of SAP Solution Manager, monitoring tools, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Familiarity with Dual landscapes is a must.
• Familiarity with cloud hosting environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP Basis certification (SAP Certified Technology Associate).
• Experience in ECC to S/4HANA migration projects.
• Experience with CPI tenant administration and troubleshooting complex integration scenarios.
• Experience with Fivetran, Snowflake, SAP BODS, OpenText, and VIM installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Exposure to SAP BW/4HANA, PI/PO, CRM, or SRM environments.
• Knowledge of SAFe Agile processes for incident, problem, and change management.
