Applications Engineer

As an Applications Engineer, you will play a critical role in expanding our electrical automation product lines by combining technical knowledge with strategic sales initiatives. This position bridges the gap between sales and engineering, offering opportunities to influence product adoption and deliver innovative solutions that improve performance and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
+ Market Development: Drive growth of automation product lines through strategic initiatives and customer engagement.
+ Sales Support: Provide technical expertise and training to sales representatives and customers.
+ Customer Interaction: Identify opportunities, promote solutions, and deliver consultative support.
+ Presentations & Training: Develop and deliver professional presentations showcasing automation products.
+ Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and sales teams to support business growth and technical success.
Required Qualifications
+ Education: 2-year technical degree in engineering or related field.
+ Experience:3+ years in an industrial automation environment.
+ Proven technical sales experience.
+ Technical Skills:Proficiency in PLC code reading and troubleshooting.
+ Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.

Work Environment
+ Travel: Approximately 25% regional travel (KS, MO, IL).
+ Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $57.00/hr.
