One of our food processing clients in Winnipeg, MB is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their manufacturing facility.
Shift - Night
Pay - $41-$46/hr
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on food processing and packaging equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Repair or replace faulty components including motors, conveyors, pumps, sensors, valves, and bearings
Support breakdown maintenance to minimize downtime and production losses
Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs
Ensure all work complies with food safety, GMP, HACCP, and sanitation standards
Assist with installation, modification, and commissioning of new equipment
Perform routine inspections to identify potential failures
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Requirements
Licensed / Ticketed:
Millwright red seal license holder
Non-Ticket:
Minimum 2+ years of experience in food manufacturing or similar industrial environment
General:
Knowledge of conveyors, fillers, mixers, ovens, packaging lines, and refrigeration systems
Basic PLC troubleshooting is an asset
Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends
Strong safety awareness and communication skills
