Licensed Psychiatrist – Meridian, MS 39301 (#R10211)
Location: Meridian, MS 39301
Employment Type: Full-Time
Rate: $133.75/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform psychiatric evaluations and ongoing assessments.
• Create and manage individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications.
• Provide clinical leadership during treatment planning.
• Collaborate with nursing, social work, and psychology staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotations as needed.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Completed residency in Psychiatry.
• Active and unrestricted Mississippi medical license.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
• Current DEA license.
• Experience in inpatient or hospital psychiatric care preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, crisis intervention, and team leadership skills.
