Job Description

At FreshCut Paper, we’re redefining traditional greeting cards by transforming paper into unforgettable works of art. From life-sized pop-up bouquets to intricate cards and imaginative gifts, we push the limits of what’s possible with paper through design and innovation. Every piece is crafted to surprise, delight, and make meaningful connections feel extraordinary.

As a fast-growing, design-driven startup, we’re building a brand at the intersection of art, emotion, and ecommerce. Our team is scrappy, strategic, and highly collaborative. We thrive on bold ideas, inventive problem-solving, and creating experiences that stand out in a crowded marketplace. Together, we’re shaping not just a product line, but a new way to celebrate and connect.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive operations professional to help keep our inventory, purchasing, and product data running smoothly as we grow. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring products are accurately tracked, well-stocked, and launch-ready across multiple channels. You’ll work closely with sales, marketing, and warehouse partners to support tradeshows, product launches, and key accounts, while using data and reporting to spot risks, improve processes, and drive smarter inventory decisions. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys owning processes, collaborating cross-functionally, and growing their skills in a fast-paced ecommerce environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management & Reporting

  • Perform inventory adjustments; research and reconcile discrepancies
  • Manage inventory allocations for tradeshows, PR events, and special initiatives
  • Monitor inventory levels across multiple locations and coordinate inter-warehouse transfers as needed
  • Maintain daily inventory reports and dashboards
  • Track and report key inventory metrics (including stockouts, excess inventory, and inventory turnover) to identify risks and opportunities

Purchasing & Forecasting

  • Execute and monitor the purchasing process from end to end
  • Place purchase orders with vendors and enter them into the company ERP, ensuring accuracy of quantities and pricing
  • Maintain a centralized tracking document for all purchase orders and inbound shipments
  • Monitor production output, transit timelines, and new product launch schedules
  • Follow up on delays and communicate risks proactively
  • Review receipts and verify delivered quantities against purchase orders

Sales Support

  • Partner with the sales team to ensure tradeshow and key account samples are available by agreed deadlines
  • Coordinate communication around product arrivals and key account inventory allocations
  • Keep stakeholders informed of new product arrival dates and any delays impacting launches or shipments
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to understand upcoming promotions, product launches, and seasonal plans, and incorporate their impact into inventory and purchasing plans

Product Data Integrity

  • Maintain product data files, ensuring all product attributes are complete and accurate
  • Set up new products across ERP, warehouse portals, and forecasting tools
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of master SKU data, including product attributes and bundling configurations

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in inventory management, purchasing, or supply chain operations; experience in a DTC or ecommerce environment preferred
  • Proficiency with inventory management or ERP systems (NetSuite experience a plus)
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including data analysis and reporting
  • Working knowledge of product lifecycle management and inventory classification methods (e.g., ABC analysis)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Clear communicator with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn; comfortable taking initiative in a fast-paced environment

Benefits

  • Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)
  • Health Savings Plan
  • Retirement Plan (IRA)
  • Life & Disability Insurance
  • Flexible Paid Time Off
  • Family Leave
