Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital's (NVRH) Human Resources Department seeks an experienced Employee Development Specialist. The Employee Development Specialist will create, develop, implement, and conduct training and development programs for all NVRH employees. This role is crucial in enhancing the skills and knowledge of our hospital-wide staff through effective training programs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about employee growth and development, ensuring all employees have the tools to excel.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital is in St. Johnsbury in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. We are a community, not-for-profit, acute care, critical access hospital. The organization provides primary and preventive care, surgical and specialty services, inpatient and outpatient care, and 24-hour, physician-staffed emergency services. Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma, with experience in Human Resources preferred. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in training and development is essential. Candidates should have a solid understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories. Strong computer skills are required, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Additionally, experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) is preferred.
