About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Credit Execution Specialist to support the Diversified Industries (DI) Credit Execution team, one of several Corporate Banking Middle Office (CBMO) Credit Execution teams in the Corporate Investment Banking Lending Operations (CIBLO) organization at Wells Fargo. 

The DI Credit Execution team supports the Sponsors, Healthcare, Emerging Healthcare Technology, Industrials, Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT), Consumer & Retail and Global Canada lines of business within Corporate Investment Banking. 

The DI Credit Execution team partners with the Portfolio Managers to book the credit exposure approved for their clients.  The team documents the credit approvals in the system of origin and submits the required documentation to have the credit exposure booked to the system of record.  This role offers a hybrid work schedule with some in-office expectation. 


In this role, you will:

  • Provide credit deal team support responsible for accurate initiation of loan packages, review of loan documentation and pre-closing/closing tasks for direct and operating exposure.
  • Coordinate loan booking and closing activities to ensure consistent, timely and accurate credit delivery to our clients.
  • Develop expertise in bank policies, procedures, and compliance requirements and ensure adherence.
  • Evaluate and ensure accurate new and existing data in the systems of record.
  • Partner with managers to resolve issues and provide status updates on implementations.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
  • Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Business Relationship Support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of credit systems, including nCino, SalesForce, LIQ, TRE, CoRS, WCIS, ICMP, ART, RCS & WBRS.
  • Knowledge of corporate banking booking and closing processes.
  • Understanding of the credit underwriting and customer due diligence processes.
  • Understanding of corporate loan structures and navigation of documents, specifically outside counsel prepared credit documents.
  • Experience applying compliance and regulatory requirements, including Reg U, Reg W, Volker, QFC, CRR, Flood, et al.
  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to compete high quality work product.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important.
  • Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$60,000.00 - $100,000.00
