Job Title: CI Manufacturing EngineerJob Description

The Manufacturing Engineer will identify, communicate, and help drive improvements throughout the production and engineering process. This position plays a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency by working directly with the Continuous Improvement Manager.

Responsibilities

• Engage shop floor personnel and engineers on process improvements.

• Understand and control process inputs and outputs.

• Design processes to ensure quality and standardization.

• Evaluate quality control processes and make recommendations for improvements.

• Evaluate aspects of manufacturing design and process to recommend improvements.

• Design and implement manufacturing systems, optimizing workflows, and reducing waste and costs.

• Select, design, install, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and fixtures.

• Troubleshoot production line issues, recommend and implement solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, quality, and production staff.

• Estimate production costs, times, and staffing requirements, and gather statistics to assess efficiency.

• Conduct advanced problem-solving and root cause analysis activities.

• Participate in Kaizen events and occasionally lead them.

Essential Skills

• Manufacturing engineering experience.

• Process engineering expertise.

• Continuous improvement knowledge.

• Lean manufacturing proficiency.

• Experience with ERP systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 3 years of manufacturing engineer experience.

• 3 years of lean manufacturing experience.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• 3 years of time study experience and analysis.

• 3 years of troubleshooting machine experience.

Work Environment

This is an on-site position that requires a hands-on approach with the shop floor.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Berlin, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
