WORK SHIFT SCHEDULE :

This is a rotating 12-hour work shift - 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

NOTE: The seasonal nature of our business often requires working overtime. Therefore hours may fluctuate due to business necessity and meeting operational needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of electric or gas powered forklifts to and from various departments.

• Unload load transfer and stack brite or finished goods and supplies from trucks etc.
• Interpret shipping order or receiving report to determine item to be (un)loaded.
• Ability to stack and unstack pallets of products in rows and up to 5 high.
• Check product for quality and proper shipping information.
• Daily inspection of vehicle before operating corrects any low fluid levels.
• Track input change and update data of inventory.
• Complies with proper weight distribution on rail cars and trucks.
• Ensure that GMPs (General manufacturing Practices) safety rules and regulations are being followed and enforced
• Maintains general houskeeping.
• All other duties assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Ability to :
  • Work 12-hour scheduled shifts
  • Read and write the English language
  • Pass the Seneca Forklift certification test.
• Basic knowledge of Forklifts.
• Goodwritten and oral communication skills.
• Requires good judgement and decision making skills.
• 1 - 3 months of previous forklift experience helpful but not necessary.

Wage range based on skills abilities and experience from $19.50 to $31.50/hour
