Our client is a NYC- based multi-billion-dollar real estate private equity fund with a highly collaborative culture. This fund invests directly in real estate operating companies, not individual properties. The fund also takes GP stakes in real estate investment managers. As the result of successful fundraising activity, they are expanding their investment team and would like to add an Associate. The Associate should have 2-4 years of experience from a top tier investment bank focused on Real Estate, Gaming, Lodging, Leisure, M&A, Leveraged Finance, Consumer, Telecom, or Industrials. They will also consider a combination of investment banking and buy side experience with up to 4 years of total work experience. This role requires strong corporate finance and fundamental analytical skills including building three statement operating and LBO/M&A models from scratch. Candidates must have a strong interest in real estate. This is a career track role for humble team-oriented individuals with a strong work ethic. No MBA’s please. Salary range: $125,000-$175,000 + bonus. This position is not eligible for sponsorship of US work authorization.
